Q: How to apply for a Visa?
A: According to the China Consular Service website, as of February 16, 2023, China has concluded mutual visa waiver agreements with the following 150 countries. According to the requirements of the agreements, visa-free entry with the relevant passports generally allows a stay of no more than 30 days. See the links for details.

An invitation letter from the event organizer is required to apply for a visa. The bid consortium will issue an invitation letter to each foreign participant of WGC2023 to help them obtain a Chinese visa smoothly.
The visa application time and process vary among countries. Please consult the Chinese Embassy in your local area.

Q：COVID-19 rules in China
A: At present, masks are no longer compulsory for meeting places, except for a few places such as public transport and schools where masks are required.
COVID-19 PCR test or Antigen Rapid Test (ART) are required within 48 hours before boarding China-bound flights. Passengers are required to travel to China with a negative test result. If you received a positive test result, you should only travel to China when you tested negative against COVID-19.
